The house has 11 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms sleeping all together 33 people. The breakdown of the rooms is the following:
2 x doubles with their own private bathrooms (one bed in king size)
2 x double ensuite (one is king size double)
3 x triple en suite (one is 3 single beds, two have a king size double and a single)
2 x family en suite (both king size double and 2 singles + space for a cot if required)
2 x 4-bedded dormitory rooms with private bathrooms
All the bedding and towels are provided for the bedrooms and there’s complementary shower gels and hand washes in the bathrooms.
Besides the bedrooms, we have a comfortable living room with a log burner and adjoining dining room that can easily sit 24 guests. There is also a large kitchen with an 8-ring gas hob, oven and plenty of fridge space in two of our fridges and a freezer. You can find everything for your self-catering needs in the kitchen. There is an acre of kept grounds at the back of the building, which is perfect for running around for kids and adults alike. There are also a couple of picnic tables and an undercover seating/smoking area as well as a charcoal barbecue for you to use (you would need to bring your own charcoal).
There is also a volleyball net at the top of the field for some friendly matches. As well as the back garden, there is also a walled orchard at the front of the property. We’ve also got a 10-person sauna that can be hired out separately from £50 for the weekend. Please enquire about the sauna before your check in.
You can also be the landlord/lady of your own little pub here at New Ing Lodge. Our cosy bar The Staggering Wanderer can fit many happy people and we’d be more than happy to stock it with some delicious local ales and lager. We offer beers from Eden and Tirril Brewery, all located within 15 miles from our door.
Please find beer list with prices below. There are plenty of pint glasses, wine glasses, champagne flutes and tumblers to make your serving easy. You are also welcome to complement the beer with any of your own drinks of choice that you might want to bring with you.
Please give us at least 6 weeks notice if you’d like to order beer through us!
Although you have the full use of our kitchen during your stay, why not have a completely relaxing weekend and let us take care of some or all of your meals while you are here. We offer a hearty breakfast and various evening meal options. When the season allows, we are also happy to light up the barbecue and cook up a delightful meal there. You can find our sample menu here but we are also happy to discuss any of your requests or requirements! Please ask us about options for evening meals over email.
Parking: there is room for up to 10 cars on site. You can park 3-4 cars in front of the house and more at the back of the house. If you have more than 10 vehicles, you might need to park some of the off site on the side of the road.
Checking in: check in is from 15:30 onwards on the day of your arrival. Please let us know before when you are planning to arrive so that we can arrange to be here for that time. A member of staff will show you in and give you the ins and outs of everything you need to know about the house.
Checking out: check out is by 10:30 on the day of your departure.
Dogs: we are dog friendly and you are welcome to bring your four-legged friends to have a good time with you. We would normally charge £5 for dogs.
