Rooms for Exclusive Use

We can accommodate 30 people within the New Ing Lodge for exclusive use. There are also have three separate self contained apartments available to add to your booking that can sleep an extra 6 people. These apartments are booked separately, so please enquire on availability.

Family Rooms
2 Family rooms that sleep up to four people. 1 Family Room comes with a bath. Both are ensuite.

Triple Rooms
2 Triple rooms with Double bed and single. Both rooms are ensuite

Double Rooms
4 Double rooms, 2 are ensuite and 2 have private bathrooms directly adjacent to the bedrooms. All four double rooms have king size beds

Twin Rooms
2 Twin rooms, 1 ensuite and 1 with a private bathroom directly adjacent.

Dorm Rooms
1 Dorm room with private bathroom. Sleeps 4 in bunk beds.
AmMa Barn Apartments
3 x 1 bedroom apartments are available for booking separately. Please see more information here

Bar area for exclusive use

Beer List

Our beer area can seat up to 15 people and is perfect place to socialise for your group booking.

For exclusive use, we do not offer a manned bar, however we can place a Kegged or Cask beer on for you ready for your arrival. Please see our Bar List for more information on the prices of these.

Please feel free to bring your own drinks. We have a separate fridge to store any drinks you bring and a freezer for ice.

Lounge Area

Our Lounge area can seat up to 15 comfortably with a wood burning stove that we provide some wood to get you started. Extra wood can be purchased from us if required.

We also have wifi, TV, board games and a speaker you can use to entertain yourselves.

Dining Area

Our dining area can sit 24 comfortably for a sit down meal, or more for buffet style.

The dining area is connected to the Lounge area so diners can benefit from the wood burning stove if required.

Kitchen Area

Our kitchen area is fully equipped for all your needs. All Crockery, cutlery and pans are fully available.

Games Room

Floor PLan

At the top of the property, there is a large games room area that is multi-purpose. It is suitable for Games, Consoles, Watching movies and activities such as yoga and other fitness activities. See our Floor plan to gauge scale.

Additionally, there is a selection of board games tucked away in the downstairs hallway cupboard for all to enjoy.

SAUNA And Hottub

The sauna & hot-tub are situated in the garden next to the fire-pit area. It is ideal for use after a long day on the hills and seats up to 10 people at one time and the hot-tub is a 6 person tub but is roomy enough for up to 10 if you don't mind getting cosy. We recommend bringing some flip flops for your own comfort and your own towels are required. This service is at an additional cost and is £180 based on a 2-3 night stay. Additional nights will be calculated on time of booking.

Firepit and BBQ

The Fire pit is available with a large purpose build seating area. We will provide some logs for specific use on the fire pit, to make sure your social outdoor evenings are warm as well as picturesque.

There is also an undercover seating area for those rainy Lakeland evenings complete with a BBQ area (charcoal not provided)

Accessibility

Our accessibility for the property unfortunately does not have ground level bedrooms. There is level access to the ground floor via the rear of the building, however this would be over a gravelled area. There are separate apartments that adjoin the New Ing that have level access. Please enquire for more information.

Additional information

Here is some basic information that we offer in addition to the items named above.

Parties?
We are the perfect venue for those important family and friends get-togethers. However we are not a party house and have strict noise curfews. All music to be kept to a reasonable level at all times ad to be turned to gentle background level inside and off completely outside by 10:30pm. We cannot accommodate Stag or Hen Parties.

Parking
Parking for up to 10 cars available on site. Any Additional will need to be parked off site.

EV Charge Point
A single charge point is available on site. Charges apply and is administered via the VoltShare app.

We are pet friendly
We welcome dogs, we just ask that you are respectful of the property, so please keep them off the furniture and please clean up after them. We charge £10 per dog per stay.

Laundry and Ironing
There is a place to wash and dry clothing near the sauna area to the rear of the property. Within this, there is a washing machine and an airer. An additional drying cupboard is also available for wet hiking gear. We can provide an ironing facilities on request

High chairs and cots
We have 1 high chair and 1 cot to use at your stay. Additional items would need to be brought with you.

Kids Camp Beds
We have 2 Camp beds suitable for children under 12, that we can provide as an additional to the 30 people capacity.

Play Area
We have a play area with swing set, balance beams and sea-saw external to the property

Wifi
The New Ing Lodge has wifi throughout the property. We generally get great 4g and 5g service for most providers around the area also
